Lunch Time Survey Analysis

 Lunch Time Survey Analysis

My research topic: Lunch Time
Target: KSC students
Number of respondents: (14)

(Summary) Students answered 9 questions about lunch time.

(Result)

Graph#1 shows that most respondents have lunch at KSC. In fact, 92.9% responded "yes", and aother 7.1% responded "no". These results don't make me surprise that most of people have lunch at KSC.

#1

Graph #2 shows that most respodents usually bring bento. The reason why bento was chosen the most is probably to save money. Also, this result isn't surprising that the second popular answer was to buy food from convenience store and Seikyo, but the result about dining hall is surprising the number of people who eat lunch at there was fewer than I expected.

#2

Graph#3 shows many respondents chose classroom as the best spot. Perhaps the high result of classroom connects the result of second question. many people eat bento in classroom because it is tired to move around. Also, it is surprising there are no people who chose Academic Commons.

#3

Graph#4 shows most of respondents have used the Second Welfare Building five times. However, the result were varied, there are two people who had never been there and two people who had been there over 10 times.

#4

Graph#5 shows most of respondents had never had lunch at outside the KSC. It is surprising that only four people have ever gone to off-campus to eat lunch.

#5

Graph#6 shows most respondents usually have lunch with their friends. there were no people who chose "girl friend or boy friend" and "senior or junior". this result is surprising.
(I'm sorry that I didn't understand how to work clearly, so I had mistakes in this question.)

#6

Graph#7 shows the best time to have lunch is between noon and 1 p.m. From these results, it would seem that most people eat lunch after the second period.

#7

Graph#8 shows the restaurants that respondents would like to see at KSC. It's a little hard to understand, the most popular choice was McDonald's with 4 votes, followed by Starbucks and Saizeriya with 3 votes each.

#8

List#9 shows the respondents' opinion on whether bento or food bought at school such as dining hall or Seikyo are healthier. Although not every response is shown here, many interesting opinions were given. Most respondents think eating bento is more healthier than food buying at school because of choosing own healthy foods.

#9

(CONCLUSION)

This survey has many interesting and surprising results. these results can give you insight into the school life of many people. Also, this will be a valuable resource when attracting restaurants.

  2. I thought more people buy food without bringing bento. So, I surprised the result of#2

  3. Since many students are in the KSC cafeteria during lunch break, I had assumed that most people purchased their lunch, but I was very surprised by the fact that more people actually brought their own lunch boxes!
I would like to have a McDonald's at KSC. (I envy the Uegahara campus because of the variety of restaurants there 😭)
